My husband and I started our married life as farmers in the mid-1970s, and since then, we've been entrepreneurs throughout North and South Carolina, owning a construction company that actively built single-family residences along the coast. My husband, Lloyd, and I have been married more than 32 years and have a son, Rocky, and a daughter, Tracy, who, along with their spouses, have made us proud grandparents. Family is my greatest source of pride, and my favorite pastime is spending as much time with them as possible, whether cheering at their sporting events or cooking a meal for everyone together.
